Real Madrid hit with double injury trouble before Clásico showdown

Real Madrid hit with double injury trouble before Clásico showdown

Baku, October 23, AZERTAC

Real Madrid faces key player absences for the Clásico, with one out due to injury and another in doubt due to ongoing fitness issues, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Real Madrid’s young star Rodrygo is set to miss this weekend's epic Clásico against Barcelona after picking up an injury during their Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund.

The 22-year-old Brazilian forward had to leave the pitch in the 85th minute due to a thigh problem.

He’s now awaiting further tests to confirm how bad it is, but his absence is almost certain.

Adding to the drama, Madrid's goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, is also in a tight spot.

He’s struggling with an adductor injury that’s been bothering him for a while, and his chances of making it to the big game are looking slim.

The pressure is on for Real Madrid as they prepare to face their biggest rivals without two key players.
