RECEPTION AT THE CABINET OF MINISTERS
In the course of the meeting, head of the Azerbaijan Government noted that the visit of such an authoritative delegation is an important event in the socio-political life of the Republic. He highly appreciated the level of the Ukrainian-Azerbaijani relations, which are actively developing in all directions.
Along with expansion of bilateral relations, the links between Ukraine and Azerbaijan are intensively developing in the frame of CIS and GUUAM, the Premier of Azerbaijan stressed. Positions of the two countries on many questions of international life coincide and in a number of international organizations the countries demonstrate mutual support.
Mr. Artur Rasizadeh, informing the guests on the conducted economic reforms in the country, emphasized that on the level of investments per capita Azerbaijan holds the first place in both CIS space and in the Eastern Europe.
Premier of Azerbaijan Republic also dwelt on the efforts of the Azerbaijani leadership for settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.
Head of the Ukrainian delegation Vladimir Litvin spoke of the meetings he held in Baku, stressing the necessity of widening inter-parliamentary co-op, as well as links in all spheres.
At the reception, participating were Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Talat Aliyev, of Ukraine to Azerbaijan Boris Aleksenko.
