Regular meeting of CIS Foreign Ministers Council due in Moscow
Baku, December 1 (AZERTAC). Regular meeting of the Foreign Ministers Council of Commonwealth (FMC) will take place on December 9 in Moscow, CIS Executive Committee said. The agenda includes 15 questions. Among them are projects on "Strategy of the international youth cooperation", "The Concept of military cooperation till 2015", "The Plan of measures on realization of the Concept of the coordinated frontier policy for 2011-2015".
The Foreign Ministers also will discuss projects of programs of joint efforts to combat against criminality, terrorism and other violent displays of extremism, illegal circulation of narcotics, psychotropic substances and their precursors, human traffic. All these programs are to be implemented in the period from 2011 to 2013 and after consideration at the meeting will be brought for discussion of heads of the states.
Preparation of the contract draft on the free trade zone is the major question which is planned to be considered at meeting of the Council of heads of the CIS states. It is planned that by the end of current year the project will be coordinated, and in the first half of 2011 - be adopted.
The heads of the states will be offered to make decisions on the announcement of 2011 - Year of Increase of Food Safety in the CIS and on the Appeal of the Council of heads of the CIS states in connection with 25th anniversary of the Chernobyl accident.
