Seven chess players will test their strength in the 10th edition of “Vugar Hashimov Memorial” super tournament, director of the competition Anar Allahverdiyev said at a press conference.

Along with Azerbaijan`s Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Aydin Suleymanli and Rauf Mammadov, the tournament will feature super-grandmasters like Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Ian Nepomniachtchi, Richard Rapport and Vidit Gujrathi.

Organized by Vugar Hashimov Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Azerbaijan Chess Federation, the Vugar Hashimov Memorial 2024 will be held in Shusha on September 25-30.
