Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pasazade attends 9th congress of Muslims of Karachay–Cherkess Republic

An Azerbaijani delegation led by chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pasazade attended the 9th Congress of Muslims of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic held in Cherkessk, the Russian Federation.
Chairman of the Coordinating Center of Muslims of the North Caucasus and Mufti of Karachay-Cherkessia Ismail Berdiyev highlighted the activity of the Religious Department.
Following the discussions, Ismail Berdiyev was re-elected as chairman of the Coordinating Center of Muslims of the North Caucasus and Mufti of Karachay-Cherkessia.
Addressing the event, Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pasazade hailed the activity of the Mufti. He provided an insight into the unique experience of interreligious cooperation in Azerbaijan.
Mufti Ismail Berdiyev then awarded some religious figures, including Iranian Supreme Religious Leader`s representative in Azerbaijan Hojatolislam Ali Akbar Ojag Nejat with medals.
The Congress ended with the adoption of an appeal to Muslims of Russia and President Vladimir Putin.
