Smartphone - most desirable acquisition in Japan

Baku, November 29 (AZERTAC). Smartphones have become the hottest product for the Japanese in 2010, says a survey conducted by statistical agency Dentsu. The list is followed by Twitter account and Munchable chili oil.

In recent years the Japanese have changed their preference with designer labels and expensive gadgets towards cheaper goods. Experts links this change with the economic crisis facing the country.

The list of the hottest products in 2010 also include a Japanese flat digital TVs (4th place), tickets for world soccer championship 2010 (9th place), tablet iPad (19th place). Besides, according to a study Dentsu, iPad next year will rise to No.10 on the list of the most coveted commodities in Japan.
