SOIL SCIENCE AND AGRICULTURAL CHEMISTRY INSTITUTE AWARDED NATO GRANT
The project “Systems Analysis of Landscape Resistibility to Pollution by Hydrocarbons along Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Oil Pipeline”, developed by Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry Institute under the National Academy of Sciences, has been awarded the NATO grant.The project realized by Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry Institute, Azerbaijan State Soil and Cartography Committee, Adana University of Turkey and Agricultural Academy of Georgia dealt with prediction of environmental pollution along BTC pipeline by oil products on the base of examination of soils structure, microbiology and other ecological factors.
