STATEMENT OF THE PRESIDIUM OF REPUBLICAN COUNCIL OF VETERANS
The address points out that letters received by the Republican Councils from different spots of the country express concern, called the related bodies to take necessary preventive actions.
“Dear veterans, elderly of our society, who defended our motherland! They try to opposite our children to each other, fate of our motherland is being resolved. We address you and call all of you to be watchful, to reveal intrigues of instigators, to defend rights and freedoms of our citizens”.
In times, when this opposition was in power, the country was facing collapse. The fate of the republic was under the threat. Only due to iron will, organizing abilities of our dear President Heydar Aliyev, public and political stability was established in the country, economy started developing and world learnt about Azerbaijan.
Our country is facing serious problems. We have to solve them one after another; we must liberate our lands from enemy. We need unity, independence, and solution of vital issues. However, leaders of destructive opposition interfere our common aim, try to separate people, promoting the enemy by these actions.
Fate of our republic is being solved today. It depends on the individual to be elected as a President.
The address ends by words, “We veterans call everyone to vote for a politician, able to lead the country by the way of progress, democracy, for a contender, who has gained trust and believe of the nation.
