Summit of Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking countries under preparation
Ankara, October 4 (AZERTAC). Turkey`s Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) discussed in its meeting the forthcoming summit of Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking countries to be held in Kazakhstan.
The meeting was attended by President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers') Organizations (ASK) of Azerbaijan Republic Mammad Musayev, Secretary General of the of Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking countries Khalil Akinchi, heads and representatives of industrial chambers of Turkic speaking countries.
Speaking at the meeting, president of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) of Turkey Rıfat Hisarciklioğlu stressed necessity of strengthening economic cooperation, in particular the trade relations among the Turkic nations and countries. At his words, in the Eurasian region with over 400 millions of population and $4 trillions income, using rich energy resources and human potential it can be gained even more economic results. From this point of view, the Business Council of the Turkic countries to be set up at the summit in Kazakhstan on 20-21 October will be an important t structure.
The meeting culminated with signing by chairmen of industrial and trade chambers of Turkic countries of a protocol on setting up a working group to strengthen the links in private sector, transport and customs spheres, in agriculture, construction and tourism.
