Tajikistan is keen to explore Azerbaijan’s agricultural experience

Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Agriculture Elchin Zeynalov met Tajik Deputy Minister of Agriculture Anvari Nigina on the margins of 35th session of the FAO Regional Conference for Europe and Central Asia held in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, Azerbaijan and Tajikistan discussed the current state of agricultural cooperation and noted its ongoing development alongside other sectors of the economy. Elchin Zeynalov highlighted strong potential for expanding ties, emphasizing that closer business contacts, joint forums, and participation in international exhibitions could further diversify trade and increase turnover.
Anvari Nigina expressed her country’s interest in Azerbaijan’s agricultural experience, highlighting the importance of expanding cooperation through scientific and practical exchanges between relevant institutions.
As part of the visit, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Agriculture Elchin Zeynalov also met with Turkish Deputy Minister Ahmet Bağcı to discuss boosting agricultural trade, transferring modern technologies, advancing digitalization, and strengthening cooperation in research, education, agricultural insurance, and viticulture.
