TURKEY EXPECTED TO GROW 6.3 P.C. IN 2010, WORLD BANK
Baku, June 10 (AZERTAC). The World Bank in its Global Economic Expectations 2010 report said that Turkey was expected to grow 6.3 percent in 2010, 4.2 percent in 2011 and 4.7 percent in 2012, according to Anadolu Agency.
The report indicated that global gross product would increase around 3.3 percent in 2010 and 2011 and around 3.5 percent in 2012.
According to the report, growth figures in industrial production in Turkey began to increase after the economic crisis.
However, said the report, the number of registered unemployed people in Turkey, Lithuania, Estonia, Slovakia, Latvia and Hungary increased by three million.
The World Bank report said that the Turkish economy began to grow again in 2010 after negative growth in 2009.
