Turkish journalists visit Azerbaijan`s think tank
Baku, July 19 (AZERTAC). The Center for Strategic Studies under the President of Azerbaijan (SAM) has hosted today a “roundtable” meeting with Turkish journalists.
The Turkish delegation included journalists of Radikal, Hurriyet, Hurriyyet Daily News, Todays Zaman, Zaman and Star papers.
The guests were informed about the activity of the Center, its publications, local and international events and successive projects.
The meeting discussed Turkey-Azerbaijan relations, process of negotiations on Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, approach of media to terror acts in Turkey, state of media in the two countries and joint projects.
Spokesman of Azerbaijan`s embassy to Turkey Elsever Salmanov said the aim of the Turkish journalists` visit to Azerbaijan is to fill the information gap about Azerbaijan in Turkish media.
The Turkish journalists said Azerbaijan and Turkey must always support each other in all political processes.
The attendees have also exchanged views on regional and international issues, as well as the issues of mutual interest.
