Turkish National Defense University delegation continues visit to Azerbaijan

A delegation led by Lieutenant General Burhan Aktaş, Vice Rector of the Turkish National Defense University, is continuing its visit to Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.
As part of the visit, the Turkish delegation met with Commander of the Azerbaijan Naval Forces Rear Admiral Shahin Mammadov. During the meeting, the guests were briefed on the history, activities, and combat readiness of the Naval Forces, as well as ongoing efforts to develop professional military personnel.
Lieutenant General Burhan Aktaş signed the visitors' book.
The delegation also visited a Naval Forces military unit, where its members viewed the weapons and equipment used by the naval special forces.
The Turkish guests then visited the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute of the National Defense University, where they were briefed on the educational process.
They toured the campus and administrative facilities of the institute and met with Turkish cadets studying there, inquiring about their academic training, living conditions, and overall level of professional preparedness.
The delegation subsequently visited the War Games Center of the Military Management Institute under the National Defense University, where members were briefed on the center's activities and existing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in military education.
The visit concluded with an exchange of gifts and a group photograph.
