Defense Ministry, AIR Center present report on Azerbaijan Army’s peacekeeping operations

The Ministry of Defense and the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center) presented the "Report on the Azerbaijan Army’s Peacekeeping Operations" within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the two institutions, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.
The event brought together representatives of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Milli Majlis, the Security Council, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Center of Analysis of International Relations, as well as representatives of think tanks and the media.
Speaking at the presentation, jointly prepared by the Center of Analysis of International Relations and the International Military Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defense, the speakers noted that Azerbaijani servicemen have demonstrated a high level of professionalism, discipline, and responsibility while serving in various international missions, earning the appreciation of partner countries and international organizations.
The speakers also underlined that these activities represent not only the fulfillment of Azerbaijan's international commitments but have also made a significant contribution to strengthening the country's position as a reliable partner, enhancing its international standing, and expanding opportunities for international cooperation.
It was further emphasized that these achievements are the logical outcome of the comprehensive military reforms and modernization efforts carried out under the leadership of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev.
The speakers also noted that the state continues to enhance the capabilities and operational readiness of Azerbaijan's peacekeeping units to ensure they are prepared to address future challenges.
