Participants of Turkic World Week visit Azerbaijan's city of Shusha

Participants of the Turkic World Week, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turkological Congress, visited the city of Shusha on July 2.
They first visited the Shusha Fortress walls, where they were briefed on the city's history and the construction of the fortress.
The participants then toured several of Shusha's historical landmarks, including the bullet-riddled busts of prominent Azerbaijani figures Uzeyir Hajibayli, Bulbul, and Khurshidbanu Natavan, located in the city's central square.
During the visit, the guests also viewed the Khurshidbanu Natavan House Museum, the Khan Gizi Spring, and the Ganja Gate of the Shusha Fortress.
The participants were also informed about the large-scale restoration and reconstruction works underway in Shusha.
