New York hosts Nizami Ganjavi International Center’s 37th high-level meeting

On the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, the 37th high-level meeting of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC) titled “Rebuilding Trust, Cooperation and Global Stability for a Shared Future” commenced in New York.
The meeting gathered state and governmental officials, representatives of the UN and other international organizations, former heads of state, and experts.
The event heard opening remarks by Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO); Miguel Ángel Moratinos, UN Under-Secretary-General, High Representative for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC); Tatiana Molcean, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE); and Wu Hongbo, former Special Representative of the Chinese Government on European Affairs.
The event will run for two days.
