TURKSOY artists to meet in Turkey`s Bitlis province

Baku, August 6 (AZERTAC). XVI meeting of the TURKSOY artists dedicated to the 20th anniversary of restoration of independence of the Turkic speaking states has started in the Bitlis Province of Turkey. At the meeting to last till August 25, Azerbaijan is represented by Alyar Alimirzayev.

Participants will present their works for estimation what be done by culture ministers of TURKSOY member countries. First prize has been defined at $3000. The estimated works will be then presented to TURKSOY and kept at the fund of Organization.

This annual meeting of TURKSOY member countries` artists has become traditional since 1997 on the decision of Permanent Council of Culture Ministers of the Turkic speaking countries.
