TURKSOY Youth Chamber Orchestra gives concert in Ankara
Ankara, August 3 (AZERTAC). International Youth Chamber Orchestra of TURKSOY has launched mini-concert tour in the frame of International Ramadan festival. The Orchestra gave its first concert in Ankara, Turkey, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of independence of the Turkic speaking states. The newly founded TURKSOY Youth Chamber Orchestra is an ensemble formed by young musicians from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Bashkortostan, Tatarstan as well as the Republic of Korea. Students of Baku Music Academy Mustafa Mehmandarov, Elvin Najafov and Narim Musayev were among the performers.
The concert featured music pieces by classic world and Turkish composers conducted by Kazakhstan`s Anvar Akbarov.
Prior to concert, head of the Kechioren Municipality Mustafa Ak, general director of TURKSOY Dusen Kaseinov and representative of the Culture and Tourism ministry of Turkey have opened the “TURKSOY House” that will exhibit cultural heritage of the Turkic speaking countries.
Next concert of TURKSOY Chamber Orchestra is expected in Germany.
