Ukraine hotel in Moscow wins Denkmal 2010 award
Moscow, December 6 (AZERTAC). A hotel Ukraine in Moscow has won the highest award of Denkmal 2010, European Trade Fair for Conservation, Restoration and Old Building Renovation in Leipzig.
This year jury has given a high estimation to the project of renovation of hotel Ukraine in Moscow. The hotel was recognized a best object 2010 in the field of restoration and preservation of historical and cultural heritage of Russia.
The Denkmal is held in Leipzig every two years. Its concept, unique range of exhibitors, depth of first-class conferences, workshops and congresses coupled with the expert audience in attendance have all helped establish the Denkmal as the leading European fair in this field.
The variety found in heritage conservation, the restoration and renovation of buildings, art and cultural objects is reflected in the diversity on show at the Denkmal 2010.
In particular, it reflects the sectors of restoration and heritage conservation. Of particular significance here are the aspects of construction materials, building chemistry, traditional and historic building materials, the range of crafts and restoration services.
However, the Denkmal is also the fair for establishing contacts with providers and specialists from Poland, the Czech Republic, Russia, France, Italy, Hungary and other countries.
As a platform for heritage conservation, restoration and renovation of old buildings, the Denkmal is aimed at decision makers: architects, planners, craftsmen, heritage agencies, restorers, but also at investors and building owners.
