World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day marked in Saint Petersburg

Azerbaijan’s consulate in Saint Petersburg has organized an event at the Azerbaijan National Cuisine Center “Lesnaya Skazka” on the Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis.
Consulate General Elshad Gulamov highlighted historical path of Azerbaijan, underlining the importance of the ideology of Azerbaijanism symbolizing the unity of Azerbaijani nation. He spoke of the life, activities and the role of Heydar Aliyev in establishing and strengthening today`s Azerbaijan, to bring compatriots together around this idea. The diplomat said President Ilham Aliyev was successfully continuing the national leader`s political course.
The staff of consulate, diplomatic and public figures, members of the Azerbaijani Diaspora, media representatives attended the event.
