12TH AZERBAIJAN INTERNATIONAL FOOD, DRINKS AND PACKAGING EXHIBITION LAUNCHES IN BAKU
The 61 companies of 13 countries of world offer the food products, frozen foods and semi-prepared foods, alcohol and soft beverages, tea and coffee, tobacco and tobacco products, ingredients and food supplements, processing equipment, packaging and packaging equipment, freezing and trade equipment, restaurant and bar equipment, agricultural machinery and spare parts, agricultural and garden inventory etc.
In their speeches, Ismat Abbasov, Minister of Agriculture, Mehman Ahmadov, Vice-President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Emil Majidov, President of Export & Investment Incentive Fund in Azerbaijan, Farid Mammadov, head of Iteca Caspian and others noted that number of Azeri producers in this exhibition, has been conducting since 1994, is hourly increasing. GDP in the republic reached 26%, 72 per cent of the production falls at the local entrepreneurs.
