3rd session of IACA Assembly of Parties kicks off in Baku

Baku, November 19, AZERTAC

The 3rd session of the Assembly of Parties of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) has today started in Baku.

The event brings together 130 delegates from 43 countries, as well as international organizations, Council of Europe, European Union (EU), and Group of States against Corruption (GRECO), head of European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF), independent anti-corruption agency, justice and interior ministers.

Head of the Department for Work with Law-Enforcement Bodies at the Presidential Administration Fuad Alasgarov read out a letter of greetings of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the event participants.

IACA Executive Secretary Martin Kreutner and Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Zakir Garalov addressed the session.

The three-day event discusses organizational matters, and will also see the election of the chairman of the Assembly of Parties of the International Anti-Corruption Academy.
