® AccessBank’s female Supervisory Board members met with women leaders
Supporting the professional development of female employees, strengthening their leadership potential in the corporate environment, and encouraging their active participation in decision-making processes have been identified as key priorities for AccessBank. To this end, the Bank has established the AccessBank Leading Women Club, a platform that brings together women holding managerial positions at AccessBank.
Founded in 2022, the Club currently unites more than 40 female leaders. The main aim of the initiative is to strengthen a culture of mutual support and collaboration among female employees, foster team spirit, and expand professional networking opportunities.
This time, within the framework of the AccessBank Leading Women Club, a workshop was organized with the Bank’s female Supervisory Board members, Andrea Hagmann, Fernanda Molejon, and Olga Tomaş. During the meeting, the speakers shared their professional development journeys and the career stages that led them to leadership roles. They also discussed key milestones in their career decisions, as well as the challenges they had to overcome as women and professionals.
The special guest of the event was Momina Aijazuddin, Regional Director for the Middle East and Central Asia at the International Finance Corporation (IFC). During the session, she spoke about global trends in microfinance and led discussions on financial inclusion and the professional advancement of women in the banking sector, while also responding to participants’ questions.
AccessBank’s female leaders gained valuable insights into the career development paths, leadership approaches, strategic decision-making experience, and professional growth journeys of internationally recognized women financial leaders. The discussions also covered topics such as the role of women’s leadership in organizational development, building an inclusive management culture, and nurturing future leaders.
By continuing initiatives focused on the development of women leaders, AccessBank aims to further strengthen an inclusive and sustainable leadership culture within the Bank.
