ACTIVITY OF 199 STOCK COMPANIES CHECKED UP

Current year, State Committee on Securities under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan have received 101 complaints on violation of rights of the stockholders in 395 stock companies.

During this period, was checked up 199 stock companies’ activity on which were informed the complainants. 56 stock companies were fined at amount of 65 million 450 thousand manat for serious violations in their activity, Heydar Babayev, Chairman of the Committee, told AzerTAj correspondent. Besides, statements were sent to 33 stock companies to remove the offences admitted in their activity. No violations were found in the activity of other stock companies, while activity of the rest stock companies are being continued.
