ACTIVITY OF AZERBAIJAN CUSTOMS SERVICE RECEIVES HIGH ESTIMATION
In meeting, chairman of the Committee in detail informed members of delegation on questions interesting visitors, has noted, that customs bodies, accepting direct participation in increase of budgetary incomes, bring contribution to formation of modern tax policy of the country. “As a result of formation of effective tax system of the country, relative density of customs taxes and duties in budgetary incomes is reduced, however, their amount every year grows”, Aydin Aliyev told.
Having noted, that under direction of President Ilham Aliyev, rates of development in economy of Azerbaijan were considerably accelerated, Chairman of Committee has regarded development of non-oil sectors and functioning of large enterprises, engaged in local manufacture on all branches, as a bright example of liquidation of dependence on import.
Informing on successful results of the past half year, the Chairman has expressed hope, that customs bodies would do the utmost for worthy performance of the forecast on other months of current year, and also on 2007.
The head of mission Vitaly Kramarenko, having received the information on the done work, has expressed confidence of the further continuation of cooperation between international structure represented by him and the State Customs Committee, has highly estimated the work carried out by the Committee.
