AMBASSADOR OF AZERBAIJAN TO INDONESIA MEETS THIS COUNTRY’S DEFENCE MINISTER

Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Indonesia Ibrahim Hajiyev met July 14 this country’s Defence Minister Juwono Sudarsono to discuss prospects of further boosting the bilateral ties and present to him the draft agreement for cooperation between the Defence Ministries of the two countries.

Ibrahim Hajiyev informed the Indonesian Minister of Azerbaijan’s internal and foreign policy, and economic progress that the country is making.

Mr. Hajiyev said that July 13 inauguration of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline captured worldwide attention.

The Ambassador also spoke of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, and expressed his gratitude to Indonesia for supporting Azerbaijan’s equitable stance on this dispute.

Juwono Sudarsono, in his turn, said Indonesia is ready for all-round cooperation with Azerbaijan.
