ARMENIAN DELEGATION LEAVES BRNO EVENT
The Czech non-governmental organization NESEHNUTI has hosted in Brno an event concerning the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over the Nagorny Karabakh, ‘Azer-Czech’ society reported. Azerbaijan was represented here by Head of the society Elshan Nazarov and Karabakh war veteran Fuad Alkhasov, and Armenia by Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper ‘Nairi’ Maria Sarkisyan and representative of the organization Armenian Home Grant Sarkisyan. The event began with presentation of Azerbaijani and Armenian traditional cuisine. Also, he participants saw the documentary film “Azerbaijan and Armenia: between peace and war” made at the European Union’s initiative. After that related discussion began. Representatives of both sides answered questions from the audience. Armenians’ attempts to provide false information were doomed to failure, and they left the event after members of the Azerbaijani delegation presented video and photo materials about tragedy of Khojaly, the town in Nagorny Karabakh ruined by Armenian occupants, who killed and subjected to torture thousands of innocent people including women, elders and children.
