AUTHOSHOW AND AUTOPARTS EXHIBITIONS UNDERWAY IN BAKU
Baku, March 26 (AZERTAC). AutoShow 2009, 6-th Azerbaijan International Automotive Exhibition and AutoParts 2009, 3rd Azerbaijan International Spare Parts, Accessories and Service Equipment Exhibition organized by the UK ITE Group PLC and its partner in Azerbaijan Iteca Caspian LLC have today opened in Baku at the Heydar Aliyev Sport and Concert Complex. The exhibitions are officially supported by the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation
Chief of the Transport Ministry`s “avtonatliyyatservis” department Chingiz Bakhshiyev said this year`s exhibition gathered about 15 countries from 15 countries.
Representative of the State Road Police Department Arastun Majidov said over 100 thousand vehicles were brought to Azerbaijan in 2008 alone. Of them, 85 thousand were delivered to Baku.
Director of the Iteca Caspian LLC Farid Mammadov said such kind of exhibitions was postponed in a number of countries. However, despite the ongoing crisis, there was no problem in conducting this exhibition in Azerbaijan.
The exhibition AutoShow 2009 presents: cars, vans and pick-up trucks, lorries, motorcycles, municipal engineering machinery, public transport and insurance options. In the “Special Transportation” section, a presentation of different leisure and racing yachts was held. The “Commercial transport” sector is widely represented with exhibits including; passenger buses, tractors, dumping lorries and semitrailers for transporting different kinds of products.
For the third year, the AutoShow exhibition is held alongside the AutoParts exhibition which presents spare parts, accessories and maintenance equipment.
Various presentations & workshops are held at the exhibition, along with several competitions for the visitors and exhibitors, making the exhibition an unmissable event for automobile enthusiasts.
AutoShow exhibition has been the only event in the region demonstrating the latest innovations of the automobile, spare parts and accessories market for the last six years. The exhibition will provide the opportunity to establish business contacts and obtain information about products available in the automobile industry.
