Awareness campaign on Victory Day held in various U.S. cities

Employees of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the United States participated in an event dedicated to the fifth anniversary of November 8 – Victory Day at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
The event was attended by professors, faculty, and students of the University of Illinois, Farid Mammadov, head of the Azerbaijan Center of Midwest America, and compatriots living in Chicago.
In his opening speech, embassy employee Ramel Latifov stated that November 8 holds deep meaning for every Azerbaijani. He noted that this date marks the liberation of Shusha and the restoration of territorial integrity. Latifov emphasized that the day symbolizes the resilience and unity of the people.
On behalf of the embassy, he expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijan Center of Midwest America, the Azerbaijani Student Association, the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, the students, and everyone who contributed to organizing the celebration.
