AZERBAIJAN –UKRAINE COOPERATION TO FURTHER ENHANCE
The Milli Majlis Speaker Ogtay Asadov today met with Ukraine charge d’affaires Igor Kizima. He said Azerbaijan-Ukraine relationship is deep-rooted and of great importance to Azerbaijan describing the role of the two countries leaders’ in its today’s level as particular. Their reciprocal visits have paved the way for enhancing the all-round cooperation between Ukraine and Azerbaijan, the Speaker said.
Igor Kizima congratulated Ogtay Asadov on his election as Speaker of the Milli Majlis and wished him every success in office. He expressed satisfaction with existing Azerbaijan-Ukraine cooperation.
Afterwards, they discussed the situation of Azerbaijanis living in Ukraine and Ukrainians in Azerbaijan, economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries, and touched upon a number of other issues of mutual interest.
