Azerbaijan and Korea discuss prospects for customs cooperation
Baku, October 29 (AZERTAC). Chairman of Azerbaijan`s State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev has met President of the Korea Customs UNI-PASS Information Association (CUPIA) Chong Ho Kim.
Aliyev briefed the delegation on the activity of the Committee.
The chairman said the Committee gained achievements in various fields, including in application of information-communication technologies.
Aliyev highlighted implementation of the e-government program and a new website of the Committee.
Chong Ho Kim expressed satisfaction with development of relations between Azerbaijan and Korea in a variety of fields, as well as in the customs sphere.
The President of the Korea Customs UNI-PASS Information Association underlined he would be satisfied with cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Chong Ho Kim invited officials of the State Customs Committee to visit Korea.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.
The event also featured video presentations of Korea and Azerbaijan.
