Azerbaijan`s Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev has met the Bulgarian delegation, led by the Minister of Economy Bozhidar Lukarski.
According to Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Economy and Industry, Mr. Mustafayev hailed the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria, stressed the importance of reciprocal visits in expanding ties. Speaking on the economy of Azerbaijan, Mr. Mustafayev noted the non-oil sector was a priority for the country. The Minister underlined the existing wide opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in a number of fields, including agricultural, production, food industry and tourism ones. Mr. Mustafayev said Bulgaria could benefit from concessions being applied in Azerbaijan`s industrial parks. The Minister also noted Azerbaijani companies were successfully participating in a number of projects of foreign countries, and underlined the investment making opportunities.
Bulgarian Minister Bozhidar Lukarski said his country was interested in expanding relations with Azerbaijan, and shared his views over cooperation in various fields of economy. The Bulgarian Minister noted the current development of economic relations between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan, and stressed the importance of reciprocal visits and joint events in terms of expansion of cooperation between the businessmen of the two countries. He invited Azerbaijani Minister and businessmen to Bulgaria.
Bulgarian ambassador to Azerbaijan Maya Hristova was present at the meeting, where the two ministers exchanged views over issues of mutual interest.
