Azerbaijan, EBRD discuss cooperation in ICT field

Azerbaijan`s Minister of Communications and High Technologies Ali Abbasov has met a delegation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to discuss cooperation in the ICT field.
Minister Ali Abbasov highlighted the country`s achievements and the work done in the communications sector in recent years. The parties exchanged views over opportunities for the EBRD`s involvement in the important projects.
Head of the Baku Office of EBRD Nile McCain hailed the development of the communications sector in Azerbaijan, and noted that the EBRD was interested in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies in this area. He also highlighted future investment opportunities in communications sector of Azerbaijan.
