AZERBAIJAN HAS STRONGEST MILITARY IN SOUTH CAUCASUS
Azerbaijan’s military is the strongest in the South Caucasus in terms of its combat capability and logistical support, Eldar Sabiroglu, chief of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry’s press-service, told a news conference on Friday.
He said NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan was implemented two years ago. While in Georgia a month ago, NATO secretary general noted NATO and Azerbaijan effectively cooperate under the action plan, adding Azerbaijan has fulfilled its tasks.
According to E. Sabiroglu, a special attention is paid to the public control over the army with the help of NGOs and media.
