Azerbaijan, International Renewable Energy Agency discuss prospects for cooperation

Azerbaijan's Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov has met with Francesco La Camera, Director-General of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) on the sidelines of the Agency’s 14th Assembly held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The sides discussed the projects implemented in the field of renewable energy in Azerbaijan, hosting of the Central Asia Investment Forum by Azerbaijan within the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), holding an event on the Renewable Energy Roadmaps for Eastern Partnership countries, as well as realizing other mutual initiatives.
During the conversation, the parties also exchanged views on various aspects of bilateral cooperation.
