AZERBAIJAN-IRAN: COOPERATION IN POWER AND TRANSPORT SPHERE OF STRATEGIC CHARACTER
The ambassador has noted, that relations between the two states are constructed on principles of friendship, good neighborhood, and have ancient history. These relations serve interests of both peoples, restoration of peace and calmness in region.
The diplomat has told: “We are neighbors, brothers. Iran and Azerbaijan should enrich each other. We have common customs and traditions, the culture, religion and other factors that pull together both countries. Muslim people of Iran love Azerbaijan as the native land.
The Ambassador also has emphasized, that several days ago at the meeting in private, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Nakhchivan, and then at the meeting in the expanded structure with participation of presidents of both countries have carried out negotiations about interstate relations, the heads of state had exchange of opinions on the coordinated projects. Also have been marked the necessity of expansion of cooperation through development of cultural, scientific, international links.
At the meeting carried out in Nakhchivan that passed in conditions of sincerity and mutual understanding, it has been declared, that any restrictions in relations between two states cannot be. Our connections develop day by day, all positive tendencies in cooperation should be lead up to the wide public, everyone should know about it.
