Azerbaijan, Korea boost cooperation in digital financial management

A delegation from Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Finance paid a working visit to Seoul, Korea, from April 12 to 17.
The visit featured seminars and training sessions on international experience in digital public financial management and the application of advanced technological solutions.
Discussions focused on strengthening IFMIS technical capacity, modern digital treasury solutions, the capabilities of the “dBrain+” platform, and technical advisory projects, along with exchanges of international experience in digitizing public financial control and treasury processes.
The sides agreed to cooperate on developing a new treasury system and introducing the “e-Control” platform in Azerbaijan to digitalize financial oversight, aiming to improve transparency, control, and decision-making in public finance.
The initiative implemented by the Ministry of Finance is regarded as a key step in modernizing the public financial management system, accelerating digital transformation, and enhancing institutional capacity.
