AZERBAIJAN, KOREA: COOPERATION EXPANDING
SCC chairman noted successful development of cooperation between two countries, intensification of political and economic and other links.
Last year the Days of Culture of Korea passed in Azerbaijan, Mr. Heydarov stressed, and such actions acquire traditional character, which is a good example of developing relations. The Chairman also stressed notable development of the Korean taekwondo in the Republic.
The customs bodies play important role in development of the bilateral links of the two countries, in particular, in expansion of trade-economic ties, based on the figures indicating dynamics of the import-export links, stressed necessity of widening of customs cooperation.
The Committee Chairman spoke of the reforms being conducted in the customs bodies, the way of their development, also updated on the coming Conference of the heads of Customs Services of the European Region of the World Customs Organization.
Ambassador Mun spoke of the positive changes in Azerbaijan, highly estimating development of customs affairs in the Republic. Gathering of the heads of world customs bodies in Baku is evidence to that, Mr. Mun emphasized.
The sides had comprehensive exchange of views on cooperation in numerous fields, on reliable partnership cooperation links between two countries, the works to be done in this direction.
