AZERBAIJAN LEADS IN GDP & INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION IN CIS COUNTRIES
According to the CIS intergovernmental statistics committee, high growth of industrial production among CIS countries for January-October 2005 falls at Azerbaijan (30%) against 5,5% in 2004, AZERTAC correspondent for Russia reports. Industrial production growth for 10 months in Georgia made up 16,8%, in Belarus-9,5%, Tajikistan-8,8%, Armenia-6,1%, Moldova-6%, Kazakhstan -4%, Russia -3,9%, Ukraine -3,1%.
Azerbaijan also takes leading position in GDP growth (23,4%), Armenia-12,2%, Belarus-8,6%, Tajikistan (5,3%), Ukraine (2,8%), Kirgizistan -0,3%.
According to the preliminary estimates, GDP in CIS countries for January- October 2005 averagely made up by 6%.
