Baku, December 2 (AZERTAC). The minister of culture and tourism of Azerbaijan Abulfaz Garayev held a number of meetings in Jordan, prior to the Days of Azerbaijani culture in this country.

Thus, Azeri minister have met Jordan`s minister for tourism and historical monuments to discuss prospects for cooperation in the field of tourism and resumption of the air flight between Amman and Baku.

Meeting with Jordanian minister of culture Nabikh Shagam, Abulfaz Garayev discussed current state of the cultural relations between two countries, and cooperation projects for the upcoming 3 years. Garayev has invited Jordanian minister to take part in Dialogue among Cultures due in Baku in April, 2011.

As part of the Days of Azerbaijani Culture, memorandum on cooperation between the Azerbaijan National Library named after Akhundov and National Library of Jordan was signed.
