Azerbaijan, Montenegro discuss prospects for economic cooperation

Azerbaijan`s Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev has today met Montenegrin Ambassador to the country Branko Milic.
Mr. Mustafayev congratulated the diplomat on his new appointment, and wished him success. Noting successful development of political, economic, humanitarian, energy and tourism relations between Azerbaijan and Montenegro, the Minister underlined the importance of reciprocal visits in terms of expanding cooperation. He also stressed the significance of the activity of the joint commission for economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Montenegro in terms of the development of ties between the two countries.
“Azerbaijan and Montenegro can cooperate in various fields of economy, including agricultural and humanitarian spheres, and expand trade,” he noted.
Mr. Mustafayev also informed the Ambassador on Azerbaijan`s sustainable economic development, as well as the country`s just position on the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Ambassador Branko Milic noted that he would spare no efforts to contribute to expanding cooperation between the two countries. The Ambassador stressed the existing great potential for development of relations between Azerbaijan and Montenegro.
The sides also discussed prospects for expansion of economic relations between the two countries, and organization of the next meeting of the joint commission.
