AZERBAIJAN PARLIAMENT DELEGATION VISITING ESTONIA
The same day, Chairman of Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov has met chairman of parliament of Estonian Republic Tomaas Varek. Discussed were further development of the Azerbaijani-Estonian mutual relations. The sides marked presence of potential opportunities for the further expansion and deepening of contacts between two countries. It was emphasized, that the effective use of opportunities could bring certain contribution to mutual ties.
During conversation also was focused development of inter-parliamentary links, the role and activity of groups of the friendship created in parliaments of both countries. At the meeting, participating was the head of the Estonia-Azerbaijan parliamentary group of friendship Eldar Efendiyev.
After the meeting, Ogtay Asadov gave interview to the Estonian national TV, has answered questions of the journalist, concerning the Azerbaijan-Estonian relations, economic development of Azerbaijan, large-scale economic projects carried out in the country and the Tallinn summit of chairmen of parliaments of the countries of the Council of Europe.
On May 29, on behalf of the vice-chairman of Great National Assembly of Turkey Ismail Alptek and the ambassador of Turkish Republic in Estonia Ms. Fatma Sula Soisal, a reception was arranged in honor of delegation of the Parliament of Azerbaijan.
