AZERBAIJAN REFLECTED IN SUPPLEMENT OF THE JAKARTA POST NEWSPAPER
Azerbaijani ambassador to Indonesia Ibrahim Hajiyev provided information here about Azerbaijan, in particular, the history, nature, economy, culture of the country, tourism opportunities, foreign policy, Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
I. Hajiyev said the fact that the first embassy of Azerbaijan in the South-East Asia was opened in Indonesia demonstrates the significance that Azerbaijan leadership attaches to bilateral relations with this country. According to I. Hajiyev, it will allow Indonesia to play a more active role in the South Caucasus, Caspian basin and Central Asia region.
Diplomat touched upon fruitful Azerbaijan-Indonesia cooperation within international organizations, saying that both countries are active participants of the global fight against terrorism and separatism.
