Azerbaijan responds to Armenian`s remarks at UN General Assembly`s 66th session

Baku, September 30 (AZERTAC). A member of Azerbaijan`s delegation has responded to remarks of Armenia`s delegation at the general debate of the 66th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The Armenian delegation used its right of reply to comment on remarks of Azerbaijan`s foreign minister Elmar Mammadyarov.

The Azerbaijani delegate said Armenia's reply was another "testament" to its "disregard of international law." The delegate said Armenia carried out aggression and ethnic cleansing against Azerbaijanis. He said Armenia built a "monoculture" by expelling Azerbaijanis from their homelands. The delegate emphasized there has been intensified attacks in the previous months from the Armenian side. The delegate finally added that Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity had to be respected, and that Armenia's destructive agenda would never be obliged, while Armenia must denounce its claims against its neighbors and act in a more civilized manner.
