Azerbaijan, Russia discuss railway cooperation
Baku, March 21, AZERTAC
Heads of Azerbaijani and Russian railway authorities have discussed ways of developing the bilateral cooperation as they met in Moscow.
President of Russian Railways Vladimir Yakunin hailed relations between Russia and Azerbaijan. “Our ties are developing in all areas, including in the field of railway.” “We believe that the new management of Azerbaijan railways will actively work towards expanding our cooperation,” he added.
Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways Javid Gurbanov highlighted reforms carried out in the country. He said Azerbaijan Railways was determined to deepen cooperation with the Russian railways authorities.
