AZERBAIJAN, RUSSIA TO SIGN ICT AGREEMENT

Minister of Communication and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Ali Abbasov met his Russian counterpart Leonid Reyman to discuss the provisions of the intergovernmental agreement, which is aimed at enhancing the bilateral relations between the two countries in the field of information and communication technologies.

The meeting was held in Uzbekistani capital, Tashkent, during the 35th session of the Council of heads of communications of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications.

The parties decided to sign the document either in October during the Bakutel-2006 international exhibition, or in December in Moscow during the 36th meeting of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications.
