Azerbaijan to be represented at World Social Security Forum
Baku, November 26 (AZERTAC). The World Social Security Forum will be held in the Cape Town, South Africa in Nov.29 - Dec.4, 2010. The Forum will be held by the joint management of International Social Security Association (ISSA) and the Republic of South Africa.
Azerbaijan`s State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) chief Salim Muslimov will take part in the event.
World`s different pension and social insurance organization heads, representatives of international organizations, politicians and scientists are expected to attend the World Social Security Forum.
Discussion of issues like development and tendencies in social protection during economic crisis, defining new ways of management on social security organizations, demographic conditions that are serious problems in many countries and other issues are planned to be focused on in the Forum.
Of the key topics "Automated management systems expanding in scale" and "Organization of actuarial surveys in insurance-pension systems and ways of making decisions" were entrusted to Azerbaijani representatives.
During the event sessions, the Organization`s president and other officials will be elected.
Azerbaijan was elected Bureau Member of ISSA in 2004, member of Steering Committee of Association`s European Network in 2007.
