AZERBAIJAN-US WORKING GROUP TO MEET IN D.C.
The 11th meeting of the Azerbaijan-US working group on economic cooperation will take place on November 29 in Washington D.C., according to press-service of the Azerbaijan Finance Ministry. Macroeconomic environment, fiscal and monetary policy, budgeting in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan’s cooperation with international financial structures (IMF, WB), managing oil revenues, the country’s membership of WTO, money laundering, anti-corruption strategy of the government, US assistance to Azerbaijan and other issues are in the meetings agenda.
During the visit the Azeri delegation led by Finance Minister Avaz Alakbarov will meet in D.C. with managements of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.
