Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan review issues of cooperation in taxation

Ilkin Valiyev, Deputy Head of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, met with Jahongir Abdiev, Deputy Chairman of the Tax Committee of Uzbekistan.
The sides emphasized that significant progress has been observed in the development of economic relations between the two countries and in the expansion of mutual cooperation.
They also discussed innovations in tax administration in both Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, including digitalization, the expansion of electronic services, and other reforms in the sector.
The parties highlighted the importance of sharing innovations through mutual exchange of experience to enhance the effectiveness of tax administration and increase voluntary compliance.
