Azerbaijan, Venezuela enjoy opportunities for expanding cooperation

Azerbaijan`s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Felix Placencia Gonzalez on the margins of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
The ministers discussed issues of the bilateral cooperation agenda, as well as cooperation on multilateral platforms, including the Non-Aligned Movement.
The sides stressed the prospects for expanding cooperation between the two countries in all areas, and in this regard, noted the importance of expanding cooperation in economic, trade and investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
It was noted that Azerbaijan's successful chairmanship in the Non-Aligned Movement and the initiatives of global significance put forward by the President were commendable.
The sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
